I purchased this Japanese Maple as a seedling in August 2007 - still in plastic tuber. The plant was potted in November 2007. I had it stored in direct sun (Melbourne Australia) through early summer - this caused the leaves to dry and drop off. Since introducing monthly feeding of Seasol and relocating to a sheltered position outside it has recovered most leaves and growing strongly. The trunk is thickening nicely. This photo was taken 25 April 2008.
